Meaning : to be safe;
                to be cautious;
                [to do something just] in case it is necessary;
                to be very well prepared.
 
 Example Sentence :To be on the safe side, carry some extra money in your shoe.
                              I like to be on the safe side and stay in my hotel room at night.
